Career Oppotrunity
1. Title: Assistance Vice President Reinsurance
Duties: Analysing all types of Proportional and Non Proportional treaties plus Facultative reinsurance underwriting including Re-Takaful, verifying Cover notes / Treaty wordings, quarterly / annual R/I Closing and the preparation of various reinsurance analytical reports / statistics.
Responsibilities: a. Assisting VP Reinsurance in the day to day affairs of the Department as required
b. Managing RI Department staff with respect to day to day issues
c. Assisting and providing Reinsurance advice or guidance to QIC business
Experience: a. 10 years or more working experience within the Reinsurance Department of an Insurance Company in the MENA area
b. Should have a high level of understanding about all major Insurance classes
c. Should have expert knowledge and understanding of Reinsurance contracts both proportional and non-proportional
d. Should have gained experience and practical working knowledge of Takaful and Re-Takaful
Qualifications: a. ACII or equivalent
b. English language
c. IT literate
