QIC Insured & Traffic Department partner to simplify car registration process
Introducing yet another revolutionary service, QIC Insured – the retail arm of QIC, the leading insurer in the MENA region has partnered with the Traffic Department to make car registration renewal easy and hassle free. With the new service, customers can now renew their car registration by taking out insurances while they are at the Traffic Department.
Officers at the Traffic Department can now access QIC Insured’s portal to get real time updates on the status of the insurance – whether the car has an active comprehensive or Third party Liability (TPL) insurance. This is an extension of the already available car registration renewal service that is offered free of cost to all customers having comprehensive insurance with QIC Insured. QIC Insured employees visit the Traffic Department on behalf of customers for renewing the car registration Commenting on the launch of this unique service, Ahmed Al Jarboey Senior Claims Manager says, “With digitization, the perception of the insurance industry in the eyes of the customer is changing.
